Message	1. When running a car on jack stands, keep in mind that the oil pick up tube is in the front of the engine. If the car is at a steep angle, you could be sucking air with your oil and cause a tick dur to a lack of lube. 2. When I did my last belt change I had a loud lifter tick in cylinders 4 and 6. This continued until the thermostat opened and the cooling system "burped". You may not have let it run long enough to burp. I would get the car level (eliminate air in the oil pickup) and let it run till it burps. Mine cooling system takes about 15 minutes after being emptied. Hope this helps.
